Chief 29 (Bean) arrived on scene confirming the intial report, also advising the vehicle on its side was off the roadway slightly down and embankment along Bristol Rd. Upon crews arrival, 1 victim was walking wounded and there was 1 patient still trapped inside the vehicle. E-78 (Lt. Groman) was instructed to stabilize the vehicle, L-29 (Lt. Campbell) and R-34 (Lt. Marino) were instructed to prepare for a roof removal. It was determined the patients injuries were non-life threatening and she was removed throught the sun roof on a backboard per medic 134's request. Crews arrived to find a fully involved vehicle with no expsures. Crews quickly extinguished the vehicle and were available from the scene. http://www.warringtonfire.com 22 Jan 2009 00:00:01 EST jsandler (Engine Lieutenant 29) Tuesday nights drill was a review of vehicle rescue and all of the tools involved. One vehicle was used to demonstrate and practice stabilizing the vehicle on its side, removing the roof, pulling the steering wheel, and pushing the dash.
