Ladder in on All Hands Dwelling Fire in Hatboro
December 19,2006 Ladder 29 was dispatched to cover Montgomery County Ladder 95 at 21:45. 95 command requested E88-1 and L29 to the scene for manpower. Crews assisted the crews on scene with clean up. L29 returned around 01:00.
Mutual Aid Rescue Drill
December 5, 2006
Rescue Lt. 29 (M. Bean) organized our quarterly vehicle rescue drill. This included Mutual Aid from Rescue 66 (Warwick). He had a 3 vehicle accident with one on it's side, one under the DOT bar of a delivery truck, with a total of 5 occupant trapped. Great job by all with a total extrication time of about 40 minutes. Special thanks also to Bob Boylan and Bill's Towing for setting up and removing the cars, Chief Harvey for getting the delivery truck, M.Bean and A. Hockmuth for setting up the cars before drill and Warwick and their crew. We will continue with our quarterly rescue drills next year and add a few neat twists. Thanks to all that turned out!!!
Rescue and Truck Go To Work at All Hands Fire
December 8, 2006 19 Chestnut Drive Rescue 29 was dispatched @ 0430 to respond as the RIT team on Tactical Box 19-24. Command had a working fire in a 2 story dwelling with all hand at work. L29 was added @ 0435. R29 set up as RIT on Alpha Side with DC-29 (Malinowski) taking the Alpha side and BC-29 (Hinkle) taking the Charlie side. L-29 onscene and split their crew. C-29 (Harvey) took the interior team and assisted the crews in service. LT-29 (Bean) and the outside team opened the roof with Ladder 5's crew. All WTFC units were released around 06:45.Great job guys!!!
Rescue 29 goes to work
November 29, 2006 Rescue 29 was dispatched @ 0157 to respond as the RIT team on tactical box 90-41. Command had a working fire in a 2 story dwelling with all hand at work. R29 set up as RIT on Alpha Side. Crews were later reassigned to manpower and assisted with overhaul. Company available @ 0300.
Car fire after accident
November 19, 2006 The company was dispatched at 02:29 for a car fire at Kulp Rd. and Riding Ct. Police arrived and found a SUV well involved following a traffic accident. Squad 78 led off with the bumper line. E29 crew assisted with manpower. All units clear @ 03:04.
29 Truck Goes in on Building Collapse in Doylestown
November 15, 2006 29 Truck was called at 14:48 to assist Doylestown (Station 19) with a building collapse at 200 Veterans Lane at the Heritage Towers Community. Chief 19 reported a partial collapse of the 8th floor. The Truck crew assisted in evacuations. All Warrington units were available at 19:53.

October 29, 2006 Battalion Chief Dan Hinkle was the 2006 recipient of the Burpee Fire Service Award representing the Warrington Township Fire Company at the Spring Mill Country Club. 29 Truck Goes to Work in Doylestown
October 27, 2006 29 Truck was called to cover Ladder 79. Once in Station 79, the Truck along with Engine 66 was called into the scene @ Jarrett Vaughan Builders, 4050 Skyron Drive. Companies on scene had working fire in dust collection system in large woodworking shop. Crews assisted with overhaul for about 45 minutes. Firefighters Visit St. Paul's School
Thanks to all the members that helped out during fire prevention week. Special thanks to Captain Fuchs for his work at St. Paul's School. They had several visit to the fire house and to the school during the week.
Fire Prevention Open House
October 15, 2006 The annual Fire Prevention Open House was held October 15 from 12-3 pm. The weather was great and the crowd was awesome. The kids enjoyed the day with Smokey the Bear, Spot the Dog, Radio Disney, The Jefferson Helicopter, the face painting, the fire hose prop, and many others. The Company would like to give special thanks to the Auxiliary for doing all the planning and making this a wonderful event. Special thanks to Wegmans and Hatfield Meats for the donations of hot dogs and rolls. We also would like to thank the public for such a large turn out and to all the kids who participated.
All Hands Kitchen Fire
October 12, 2006 Tactical Box 78-44 @ 06:09 BC 29 (Hinkle) on location of a 2.5 story dwelling with a fire in the kitchen. Squad 78 hand stretched to the hydrant and went in service with a 2" water line. E29 (Lt. Chirik) assisted with back up line. FDMT Tower 18 went to work with utilities, ventilation and some overhaul. E92 was RIT and assisted with lighting. MC E15 came in to help with manpower. Fire was in a dishwasher and extended to cabinets. Heavy smoke condition through out. Sprinkler system activated and held the fire to the area of the kitchen. Great job by all !! All unit available @ 07:30. Double Fatal on Bristol Road
October 8, 2006 Local Box 78-29 at 3066 Bristol Road (12:54 hrs) Chief 29 (Harvey) and Deputy 29( Malinowski) on location with a single vehicle accident in the woods. Reported both occupants Class 5. Squad 78 and Rescue 29 assisted the coroner with removal of both victims. The vehicle was traveling east on Folly Road and failed to stop at the dead end at Bristol Road. The vehicle traveled down a driveway striking several trees. The impact tore the car into many pieces. All photos by Dan Hinkle
Final Call for William Bell
October 8, 2006 Members of the Company attended the dedication of the Bucks County Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial this morning. This memorial has the names of firefighters who have died in the line of duty, engraved on it. Fire police Captain William Bell was killed in the Line of Duty on January 19, 1964. He was directing traffic at an auto accident on Rt. 611 in front of the Warrington Skating Rink, when he was struck and killed by a car. The chrome plated helmet, held above, was presented to the Bell family following his death and was carried to the service by Chief Harvey. It remains on display at Station 29 courtesy of the Bell Family. Thanks to the County Fireman's Memorial Committee for adding all the names in the county that were missing. Robert Bell, Williams' son and one of our life members, and his family were also in attendance. Rest in peace Brother...You will never be forgotten.

Electrical Fire Does Damage
September 5, 2006 Deputy 29 on location of a 2.5 story dwelling with a fire in the meter box. Crews in service to check for extension. Companies had to wait for PECO to shut down power to the neighborhood to finally open up and determine the fire was extinguished. R.I.T. Training Refresher
August 27, 2006
Tonight marked the end of the 8 hour R.I.T. refresher class taken by the department. As always we had a large turn out for the 2 night class. This class allows us to brush up on our R.I.T. skills once a year and to enhance our training to rescue ourselves and other firefighters on the fire ground. Thanks to all that came out for the class.
Final work on new Engine
Chief Harvey and Lt. Chirik are working on the final inspection of the new engine from Crimson Fire. It is on a Spartan chassis with a short wheelbase, 1500 GPM pump, 1000 tank, hydraulic ladder rack, 6-man cab, 400 HP Cummins, 3 crosslays, 10 KW Harrison Gen., and Class A foam. Look for its arrival in late August. It will be purchased using the CoStars program through the DGS. Engine and BC go to Work in Horsham..Again
August 9, 2006 Engine 29 (Lt. Chirik, Campbell, Morrow, Hessler, and Hessler) and BC 29(Hinkle) were dispatched by BCFR to cover Montco. Station 15B( Horsham). While enroute they were pulled in to go to work at the scene.(418 Caredean Drive) The crew assisted first alarm companies with overhaul and extinguishment. All hand working did an excellent job. Engine goes to Horsham
August 1, 2006 Engine 29 (BC Hinkle) was dispatched on the second alarm to assist Horsham at a dwelling fire at 1325 Emerson Ct. The crew assisted with manpower due to near 100 degree heat. Fire held to rear deck and roof area. Annual Fire Company Picnic
July 30, 2006 Our annual summer picnic was held at Elbow Lane Day Camp. Food, fun, and family were the order of the day. The kid were kept busy with mini golf, the playground and the pool. We even had many of the members racing down the water slide just like the kids. The weather was great and there was plenty to eat. Special thanks to President Azzara, the Ladies Auxiliary, and Elbow Day Camp for their work to make this event happen.
New Drivers Complete Pump 1 Class
July 29, 2006 Several members of the Company have completed the PA State Pump 1 class. This 16 hour class -teaches the new drivers the basics of how to operate a fire pump. This class was also the final time that the Mack (Reserve Engine 78-1 ) was used. It is out of service and will be replace by the current E-29 when the new Crimson Engine goes into service.
Storm Causes Major Headaches
July 18, 2006 What started out as a nice quiet drill night ended up with nearly 80% of the township without power and 21 runs in 4 hours. A few days of almost 100 degree heat ended in a massive thunder storm that brought down trees, wires and heavy rain. C29, D29, E29, L29, R29 responded to wires down, stuck elevator, house struck by lightning, flooded roads, down trees, alarm system, and assist the homeowner calls. By midnight the storm had passed. Many residents did not get power back for 3 or 4 days. Thanks to all our members who went beyond the call of duty to help out. Chalfont 4th of July Parade

Firefighter Competition and BBQ
June 27, 2006 Captain 29, Joe Fuchs, held our Second Annual Firefighter Competition and BBQ. We had to modify our events to be moved inside the firehouse due to the rain. Many families were on hand to cheer on their loved ones and once again this event allow us to have some fun. June 22, 2006 Ladder 29 was dispatched on a working fire at 490 East Butler Ave. on Box 19-6. BC 79 was on scene with a 1 story 7-11 Store with heavy smoke showing. BC 29 was put to work as the interior officer. Ladder 29 opened the roof. Rescue 29 added as the RIT team and E78 assisted with overhaul. All hand working did an excellent job. 2nd job for Doylestown in a week.
"The 611 Express" Goes to Work
June 18, 2006 Rescue 29 went to work on Tactical Box 90-44 @ 10:10. Crews had a working fire in a dwelling. Squirt 93 made quick work of the fire and the crew of Rescue 29 was put to work by orders of Deputy 90 to assist with salvage and overhaul. Ladder 29 and Engine 8 Cover Sta.19
June 1, 2006 Ladder 29 and Engine 8 covered Doylestown Fire Company while their members attended the funeral of Fire Fighter Steven Pinhas. Chief 29 was the O.I.C. The task force caught three runs and had a great meal. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family of our brother during their time of mourning.

May 17, 2006 (County Line and Kenas Rd) Rescue Box 78-31 was dispatched @ 07:58 for the report of a 2 vehicle accident with entrapment. DC29 arrived with 1 driver trapped. Squad 78 in service to remove both doors and "B" pillar. R29 assisted the crew. Patient extricated @ 08:21 and transported to Abington Trauma Center by Medic 134. All units clear @ 08:31. Pin Job
May 12, 2006 (611 and Bristol Rd.) Rescue Box 29-9 was dispatched @ 21:45 for the report of a 2 vehicle accident with entrapment. BC29 arrived with 1 passenger trapped. R29 in service to remove both doors and "B" pillar E29 took care of hazards. Patient extricated @ 22:01 and transported to Abington Trauma Center by Medic 129. All units clear @ 22:16 . Crews were in Station for Dinner and a Movie Night which led to a response time of 1 minute.
HOMEOWNER EXTINGUISHES MULCH FIRE
May 11, 2006 (26 Woodstone Rd.) Tactical Box 78-26 was dispatched @ 17:00 for the report of a house fire. BC29 arrived to find the homeowner extinguishing the mulch next to the house with a garden hose. Assignment held to E29 and L29 to check for extension and wet down the flower bed. This was one of 7 calls for the Department today.

May 10, 2006 (2436 Street Rd) Local Box 29-4 was dispatched @ 13:34 for the report of a brush fire. E29 and C29 arrived on scene to find a 60'x 60' section of a junk yard well involved. C29 requested the assignment be upgraded to a Tactical Box. E29 in service with 2 lines. E78 dropped in to E29. L29 set up the ladder pipe and was supplied by E29. E92 and Montco E15 assisted with overhaul. The Ladies Auxiliary provided refreshments at the scene. FM 202 and township code enforcement requested to the scene. All apparatus on scene for about 2 hours.

May 1, 2006 (1273 Lisa Drive) Tactical Box 29-13 was dispatched @ 13:45 for the report of a dwelling fire. E29 arrived on scene of a 2.5 story middle of the row with a working bedroom fire. L29 and L90 opened up and E78 and E93 assisted E29's crew. Montco R15 was the RIT. C29 assumed command. Interior crews made quick knock. FM 201 is investigating for a cause. Fire held to upstairs bedroom with smoke and water damage to the rest of the unit. This was the second time in the last three months that a working fire occurred on the first of the month.
April 9, 2006 (1725 Sorrell Road)
Box 29-17 was dispatched @ 18:50 for the report of a dwelling fire. FM 274-1 arrived on scene with a 2.5 story single family dwelling with heavy fire showing from the 1st and 2nd floor of Side A. E29 and TW 93 Side A in service with deck gun and hand lines. DC29 took operations. BC 29 took interior. C93 Division A and DC93 Division C. 29 Truck and TW 66 opened the roof. R19 and Squad 78 assisted with horizontal ventilation. E93 was RIT. Interior had heavy fire in the garage, 2nd floor and attic with 4 lines in service. M129 was rehab. All hands went to work and held fire to that area. Crews on scene for extensive overhaul operations. Under control @ 19:47. FM 200 investigating for a cause. Thanks to all the hard work from the mutual aid departments and our auxiliary for refreshments. All units clear @ 22:00.

April 8, 2006 (2104 Ted Jim Drive) Local Box 29-13 was dispatched @ 19:38 for the report of a van fire. BC 29 arrived on scene with well involved engine compartment. E29 in service with 1 line. R29 and E78 assisted with overhaul.
April 8, 2006 (611 in front of Burger King) Rescue Box 29-2 was dispatched @ 12:00 for the report of a multi vehicle accident with 1 pin. DC 29 arrived on scene with driver of a mini van trapped. R29 in service to pop drivers door and assist with EMS. E29 handled hazards. Extrication complete @12:13. M129,M122 and Horsham ambulance assisted.
March 29, 2006 (611 and Street Road) Local Box 29-3 was dispatched @ 15:08 for the report of a tractor trailer on its' side. E29 arrived on scene with driver out of vehicle and a small amount of diesel fuel on the highway. Squad 78 assisted E29's crew with hazard control and unloaded the trailer of bulk paper rolls and boxes. All units clear @ 18:30. Patient transported to the hospital by Medic 129.
March 17, 2006 (1460 Easton Road) Rescue Box 29-23 was dispatched @ 04:36 for the report of a 1 vehicle rollover with the driver pinned. DC-29 arrived on scene with driver pinned.R29 in-service with windshield removal and roof flap. E29 took care of suppression and hazard control. Squad 78 assisted R29's crew. Extrication complete @ 04:59. Patient transported to Abington Memorial by Medic 129. March 1, 2006 (Newpoint Apartments, 955 Easton Road)
Box 29-12 was dispatched @ 06:37 for the report of an apartment fire. DC-29 arrived on scene with a 2 story apartment building with heavy smoke showing and heavy fire in the rear on the number 2 floor. E29 side A 2" line to the 2nd floor. C93 took operations. BC 29 took interior. 79 Truck opened the roof. 90 Truck assisted on exposures and overhaul. SQ93 and E93 ladders to side C and backup line inside. Capt. 29 and his crew had heavy fire in the apartment and in the attic and were making good progress. E66 assisted with salvage and utilities. R19 was the RIT. FM 200 and 201 investigating for a cause. Crews made an excellent stop and held fire to apartment of origin with minimal water and smoke damage to exposures. Thanks to all the hard work from the mutual aid departments. All units clear @ 0830. This was the 3rd job in 4 days for the department.

C-29 arrived on scene with a 2.5 story dwelling with light smoke showing. E29 in service with dry chem and TIC to the interior. 29 Truck set up PPV on side A. R34 assisted with manpower. Fire in gas range with extension to the cabinets above. All units clear @ 22:56
February 24, 2006 (Kelly Rd and Cornell Drive)
Tactical Box 29-40 was dispatched @22:23 for the report of a dwelling. C-29 arrived on scene with a 2.5 story dwelling under construction with an heavy smoke showing. E29 in service with 2" water line to the interior. E78 pulled back up line from E29. Ladder 29 to the interior with hooks. Interior reported heavy fire on the 2nd floor with extension to the attic. E79, E19, SQ93 assisted on the job. R90 added as RIT. E92 covered Station 29. FM 200 investigating for a cause. Crews made an excellent stop and held fire to area above origin. All units clear @0100.
February 12, 2006 (2295 Oakfield Road)
Tactical Box 29-35 was dispatched @17:58 for the report of a chimney fire. BC-29 arrived onscene of a 2.5 story dwelling with an active fire in the chimney and light smoke condition in the dwelling. E29,E78, E92 and L29 worked for nearly an hour to extinguish the fire. DC-29 took command and reported the fire was contained with no extension.
February 4, 2006 (936 Elbow Lane)
Rescue Box 29-37 was dispatched by B.C.F.R. at 12:20 for an overturned truck in front of 936 Elbow Lane. C-29 arrived and found driver unable to get out. L29, SQUAD78, E29 and R29 went in service to remove the victim and turned him over to M129.
January 6, 2006 (1010 Lowe stare Road)
Rescue Box 78-07 was struck @ 15:30 for a vehicle extrication in the 1000 block of Lower State Road. Squad 78 arrived and found two people trapped with a car on it's roof. R29 and R34 assisted along wi9th M129.
